As we finish out our posts to celebrate Women's Hi As we finish out our posts to celebrate Women's History Month, we are reminded of the lasting impacts that women have made on the agricultural industry. We are proud of each and every one of our county princesses for the hard work that they put forth to promote the dairy industry. These young women are not motivated by being put in the spotlight, but are instead driven by their passion for the industry that feeds the world! 🤍🌍

Last, but certainly not least, meet Brooklyn Peters, the Butler County Dairy Princess! Born and raised on her family's dairy farm, Brooklyn has been actively involved in the dairy industry since she was a little girl!

Brooklyn says that she has a strong passion for agriculture, and she loves how everything is connected for a common goal - to provide delicious, nutritious, and available food! 🥛🥩🧀

As a dairy princess, Brooklyn is proud that she can advocate for the industry that she has grown up in and loves. Behind every glass of milk that she promotes, there is a hardworking dairy farmer! Throughout her time promoting, Brooklyn says that her passion for agriculture has only grown. 🌱

Brooklyn, thank you for sharing your story! We know that your passion, skill, and knowledge will only grow from here! We can't wait to see where life takes you!

Thank you to everyone that has followed along, supported, and encouraged these young dairy promoters! And remember - get your three servings of dairy every single day! 🥛🧀🍦

Wow! March has gone by so quickly, but we still ha Wow! March has gone by so quickly, but we still have a few more of our hardworking county princesses to feature! 🎉

Meet Sarah Kosack, the Erie County Dairy Princess! 👑

Sarah actually had a unique start in the dairy industry, which she credits to her best friend Lydia, whose brother owns a dairy farm. Currently, Sarah works on the farm and loves every second of it! ⌛

Sarah also mentioned that she loves engaging with the public as a dairy princess. She loves to share the importance of the dairy industry as well as her passion, stating, "My passion for agriculture has been with me since I was a young girl."

Originally, Sarah was involved on her family's pig farm, where she would help birth piglets, and she has also shown animals through 4-H. 🐖

One last fun fact! Sarah is excited to be involved at her local community fair. She said that was where she first began showing market goats, and now looks forward to being the director of the market goats at the fair. 🐐

Thank you Sarah for sharing your passion and knowledge throughout your year as a dairy princess!

Howdy there! 🤠 It's time to meet another one o Howdy there! 🤠

It's time to meet another one of our hardworking county princesses as we finish out Women's History Month . . .

Meet Sullivan County Dairy Princess, Lynsay Trostle! She is farm born and raised, and has been involved with the dairy industry for her whole life!

Lynsay had a hard time picking her favorite part about agriculture (because she loves everything 😉), but did say that she especially enjoys feeding calves and milking cows on the farm!

As a dairy princess, Lynsay loves interacting with the younger generation. She believes that they are not only the future of our industry, but that she can also make an impact on their lives through promoting agriculture and dairy farming!

Thank you Lynsay for being an example for the dairy industry. Your hard work has certainly not gone unnoticed, and we are excited to see where the next chapter of your life takes you! 📖

Did you know that the average person is about 3 ge Did you know that the average person is about 3 generations removed from the farm? 🚜👤

In a time when many are not familiar with the agricultural industry, it's important that people like Sara Stoltzfus continue to advocate about their lifestyle and passion within the dairy industry!

Sara is the Somerset County Dairy Princess, and she has grown up on her family's dairy farm, Pennwood Farms, in Berlin, PA. She has been involved in dairy promotion since I was only three years old!

Sara loves being active on the farm, and she is involved in many other agriculturally related programs. She also shows dairy cows!

Thank you Sara for all of your hard work promoting the dairy industry this year! We hope that you never stop advocating!

It's us again, and it's time for another Women's H It's us again, and it's time for another Women's History Month post! 🎉

Meet Abigail England, the Blair County Alternate Dairy Princess! 👑

Abigail has been a part of the dairy industry from the time she could walk, and is actively involved on her family's farm, Penn-England LLC. On the farm, they milk about 2,000 head of cattle (now thats a lot of cows 🐄🐄)!

Throughout her time in dairy promotion, Abigail has learned that her favorite part about agriculture is the community. Despite generating a large impact on Pennsylvania's economy and health, agriculture is a close-knit community made up of friends and family. In fact, about 99% of PA dairy farms are family-owned, just like Abigail's family's farm!

Thank you Abigail for your hard work and best of luck in your future!!

Women like Centre County Dairy Princess Bailey Little continue to follow in their footsteps and create a better tomorrow. Bailey is actually an agriculture enthusiast and entrepreneur all in one! She owns her own business, @queen_b_farm, where she makes handmade jewelry, tumblers, and clothing! 📿

When she's not busy with her business, you can find Bailey showing dairy cows, competing in barrel racing or breakaway roping, or raising beef cattle. She has grown up on her family's small farm and began promoting the dairy industry at a young age. 🐎

Bailey also mentioned that she loves agriculture because "it impacts each and every person in a different way". What she experiences, she stated, is a completely different story than any other producer or consumer.

Thank you Bailey for being an inspiration! We hope that you continue to promote the dairy industry and agriculture wherever life takes you! 🐄🌽

Hey there! 👋 It's time to highlight another on Hey there! 👋

It's time to highlight another one of our county dairy princesses. Meet Kaitlin Sleeman from Warren County! 👑

As we continue to celebrate all that women have done and continue to do for agriculture, Kaitlin reminded us that there is a place for every person that has a passion for the industry! Kaitlin has been involved in the dairy industry her whole life, and actively works on her grandfather's farm.

Despite her deep love for cows, Kaitlin admitted that they aren't the only ones that have a place in her heart. She loves pigs and raises and exhibits them for shows! 🐖

Kaitlin also mentioned that being a dairy princess has allowed for her to use her passion for agriculture as a tool to educate the younger generation with dairy knowledge! Thank you Kaitlin for taking the initiative this year and making a difference for the Pennsylvania dairy industry!

Whether she is milking cows with her grandma or working with her pigs, Kaitlin will never let her light for agriculture extinguish. She is a reminder that no matter where you go in life, there's always a place for the industry that feeds the world! 🌍
