Recap of the day! ☀️ The day started with ear Recap of the day! ☀️

The day started with early morning interviews, where we had the opportunity to talk about everything that's going on in Destination Dairy!

We were invited to attend the Mid-Winter FFA Convention and got to see our very own Pennsylvania Alternate Dairy Princess, Darcy Heltzel, receive her Keystone Degree. A special shout-out to @pennsylvaniaffa for doing an amazing job this year advocating for the agricultural industry!

Finally, we spent some time in the booth interacting with kids and adults!

Don't forget to get 3 servings of dairy every day and visit us at the Pennsylvania Farm Show in Destination Dairy! 🐮

Happy Farm Show Week! 🐄🥛🌱 As the Pennsyl Happy Farm Show Week! 🐄🥛🌱

As the Pennsylvania State Dairy Royalty Team, we have been busy promoting our hardworking dairy farmers and the nutritious products they produce! We are grateful to have this opportunity and hope to use every opportunity we can to better our industry.

A brief update of what we've been doing:

🐄 Unveiled the 2023 Farm Show Butter Sculpture, made of 1,000 pounds of butter!

🐄 Participated in the Fill A Glass With Hope Launch, which provides over 34 million servings of milk to families in need!

🐄 Helped to cut the ribbon for opening ceremonies!

🐄 Interacted with children and adults in Destination Dairy, a learning center all about dairy cows and the importance of dairy products!

🐄 Were invited to the Pa Preferred Reception to network with other commodity representatives and government officials!

And more!

The theme of this year's Pa Farm Show is "Rooted in Progress". We are proud of our deep roots to agriculture and hope to use this to educate others about the importance of dairy in our communities! We can't wait for the rest of the week!

❄️ Merry Christmas ❄️ Wishing everyone a ❄️ Merry Christmas ❄️

Wishing everyone a Merry "Dairy" Christmas and a Happy New Year!

We are also thinking of all the dairy farmers who work 365 days a year (yes, on Christmas too). Even today, these hardworking men and women put their animals before themselves. They brave the cold weather to produce the highest quality and most nutritious product for you to enjoy - MILK! Packed with 13 essential nutrients, milk is a nostalgic, delicious, and healthy beverage. Don't forget to support your dairy farmers this holiday season by drinking milk and eating other dairy products! 🥛🧀🍦🧈

Merry Christmas! 🎄🐮

We are so thankful to be able to represent the Pennsylvania dairy industry this year! Our hardworking dairy farmers work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year to provide our communities with delicious and affordable nutrition.

To our dairy farmers - Thank you for all you do. Today and everyday, we appreciate you.

As you are eating today with your families, don't forget about the hardworking dairy farmer that provides you with the delicious food you are eating!

Much love and blessings this holiday season!

Hello everyone! 👑 I am Natalie Grumbine the 20 Hello everyone! 👑

I am Natalie Grumbine the
2022-23 Pennsylvania State Alternate Dairy Princess. I am the 20 year old daughter of Larry and Denise Grumbine from Bethel. I have had the privilege of growing up on my family's dairy farm and being able to assist in chores since I was little. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to represent Pennsylvania and the dairy industry as a whole. I am currently in my second and final year at Manor College, where I am pursuing a degree in Veterinary Technology. I plan to take my knowledge and utilize it not only on my family's farm, but also in a large animal facility in the future. I am so honored to be a part of the team and promote the dairy industry beside two amazing women, Selina and Darcy!

Hello there! 👋 My name is Darcy Heltzel and I Hello there! 👋

My name is Darcy Heltzel and I am excited to be your Pennsylvania State Alternate Dairy Princess! I am the 18 year old daughter of Andrew and Jennifer Heltzel of Martinsburg, PA. I have been blessed with the opportunity to grow up in the dairy industry on my family's fourth-generation dairy farm, Piney-Mar Farm. My responsibilities there range from milking our 125-head herd of dairy cattle, feeding calves, assisting in veterinary medicine, and cleaning out pens. I am currently a senior in high school, and while I am unsure of what my future will look like, I am excited to use this new opportunity as a way to learn about the many career possibilities that the dairy industry provides! I hope to represent the Pennsylvania dairy industry with poise, pride, and knowledge as I tackle the year ahead with Selina and Natalie. 👑

✨ A fun fact about me: I also raise a small herd of meat and dairy goats with my younger sister Danielle! 🐐

Greetings from Franklin County! My name is Selina Greetings from Franklin County! My name is Selina Horst and I am proud to be your 2022-2023 Pennsylvania State Dairy Princess! I am the 23 year old daughter of Jan and Georgiana Horst of Chambersburg, Pa. I was raised on my family's fourth generation hybrid seed farm where we produce seeds to sell to other farmers to grow their crops and feed their animals. I am currently a teachers assistant at two elementary schools in the Chambersburg Area School District where I help with learning support. My love and passion for the dairy industry stems from learning about the dairy industry as a young promoter, and getting to work on a heifer easing facility where I saw first hand how hard our dairy farmers work each and every day! My goal this year is to help bridge the gap between farmers and consumers while telling my dairy story! I am honored and excited to begin my journey as the Pennsylvania State Dairy Princess and represent the dairy industry alongside Natalie and Darcy!
