STATE PAGEANT

The 63rd annual Pennsylvania Dairy Princess Pageant was held on Sat., September 21, 2019. Each county princess was individually interviewed and participated in other informal meetings with the judges. They each presented their dairy presentations, speeches and scrapbooks, tested on their dairy promotion knowledge and submitted three dairy recipes. In addition, some participated in the radio spot, recipe and poster display contests. Below are pictures of the winners, runner-ups and honorable mentions.

Tina M. Shultz Memorial Award

Gabrielle Swavely

2018-2019 Centre County Dairy Princess Gabrielle Swavely was honored with the Tina M. Shultz Award. The award recognizes the princess who has done the most effective job of serving her area as dairy princess. She is the daughter of Steve and Jeanette Swavely. Gabrielle completed over 500 promotions throughout her reign. 

Miss Congeniality

Elizabeth Lucks, Warren County

Dairy Princess Elizabeth Lucks of Pittsfield, Warren County, was voted “Miss Congeniality” by the other county princesses. She received the honor in memory of Cochranville, Chester County, dairy farmer and princess program supporter Horace Prange.
