Yesterday, the Pennsylvania and Maryland State Royalty Teams had the opportunity to tour Lanco Pennland—a dairy cooperative in Hancock, Maryland, that markets milk and produces cheese under the Pennland Pure brand. They were warmly welcomed by Kylie Schriever, Research and Development Supervisor, who shared a presentation about her role overseeing cheese production, developing new formulas and recipes, and managing cheese aging inventories. Production Manager Casey Shetler then guided guests through the facility, showing every step of the cheesemaking process. PA Dairy Princess Jesslyn Risser shares, “It was truly amazing to see the full circle of hard working dairy farmers, providing milk to the co-op and watching it be transformed into cheese!” Both state teams agreed, cheese is their favorite dairy product.Thank you, Lanco, for the tour and the delicious samples! ... Pennsylvania Dairy Princess and Promotion Services provides services and promotions within Pennsylvania involving the #2 agriculture industry: DAIRY!🐮

✨November is a month for gratitude. What better ✨November is a month for gratitude. What better way to celebrate than by thanking the hands that feed us!✨

🐄Welcome to Thank a Farmer Friday🐄

Each Friday of November, SRT will highlight four of the 4,850 Pennsylvania dairy farm families who work tirelessly to provide fresh, wholesome milk for our communities.

This week, meet the Reichard Family!

Reich-Dale Jerseys proudly represent nine generations of dairy farming tradition in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

They are proud members of the Cooperative Dairy Farmers of America (DFA).

💥The Herd:
Currently milking 114 cows — Jerseys, Holsteins, Brown Swiss, and Ayrshires.

 🌾The Farm:
Owning 143 acres and farming 220 acres total

🧬What Makes Them Unique:
• A strong focus on genetics and their own breeding program
• Herd averages an impressive 87 points across all breeds
• Numerous All-American and All-Pennsylvania nominations
• Their latest addition — a hoop barn for calves — helps care for the next generation of their herd

💙A Personal Connection:
The Reichard family holds a special place in Pennsylvania Alternate Dairy Princess Rebekah’s heart. Having spent many years helping with everyday farm chores, working alongside them at dairy shows, and sharing countless moments on the farm, Rebekah has seen firsthand the dedication, teamwork, and passion that defines this incredible family.

👋 SRT would like to thank Curtis, Autumn, Skyler, Hayden, and Shaylin Reichard for their unwavering commitment to excellence in the dairy industry — not just today, but for the generations of dairy farmers to come! 🥛💛

Last, but certainly not least, our final member of Last, but certainly not least, our final member of the State Royalty Team, is Pennsylvania Alternate Dairy Princess, Rebekah Aldrich, from Franklin County!

Rebekah Aldrich is beyond honored to serve as the 2025-2026 Pennsylvania Alternate Dairy Princess! Rebekah is the daughter of Chris and Barbara Aldrich and resides in Waynesboro with her parents and two sisters, Sarah and Carrie Ann.

Rebekah is employed as a Teacher’s Assistant in the Chambersburg Area School District, where she helps facilitate virtual speech therapy sessions for elementary students. Outside of work, she enjoys showing dairy cattle, shopping, and reading. Rebekah owns Jersey, Brown Swiss, Holstein, and Red and White Holstein cows. Reich-Spring Farm, owned by her grandparents, is where she and her family raise heifers. She also helps on her cousin's dairy farm, Reich-Dale Jerseys, where Rebekah enjoys helping with daily farm chores. Rebekah developed a strong appreciation for dairy farming through hands-on involvement at shows, working with dairy cattle, and supporting Pennsylvania’s dairy community through local and state-wide promotions.

One of her favorite memories from her time as a county princess was attending the Mercersburg Community Fair. There, Rebekah and her team of junior promoters created a giant ice cream sundae for fairgoers to enjoy, while also raising money for Fill a Glass With Hope. The experience allowed her to creatively engage the public, share the dairy story, and raise money for a cause close to her heart.

Rebekah is eager to focus on building connections with consumers about the importance of dairy in everyday life. She looks forward to sharing her story, highlighting the work of Pennsylvania’s dairy farmers, and strengthening relationships across the state. Rebekah's goal this year is to help ensure that Pennsylvania’s state beverage, milk, continues to be celebrated and supported for generations to come!
Now introducing, Bry Keller, your 2025-2026 Pennsy Now introducing, Bry Keller, your 2025-2026 Pennsylvania Alternate Dairy Princess.

Bry is proud to represent Adams County, where she lives in Gettysburg with her parents, Kevin and Candice Keller and her siblings Katelyn, Kevin, and Nathan. She is currently a Junior at Gettysburg Area High School, where she serves as President of the Battlefield FFA, participates in Student Council and the National Honor Society, and plays on the softball team. Outside of school she is also an active member of the Adams County 4-H program.

Although Bry wasn’t raised on a dairy farm, her connection to the dairy industry began at a young age. She was fortunate to be introduced to the dairy industry through the opportunity to begin showing Brown Swiss cows. That experience quickly sparked a passion within her, and over time, her appreciation for the hard work, dedication, and values of the dairy community continued to grow. One of her favorite promotions so far has been organizing a “Kiss A Cow” event at her local fair. Fairgoers had the chance to kiss a cow while supporting Fill a Glass with Hope.

This year, Bry's goal is to help bridge the gap between the dairy industry and today’s youth. Bry hopes to connect with those who may not have been exposed to the dairy industry before, and help teach about the important work that dairy farmers do everyday to ensure consumers have access to nature's nearly perfect beverage, milk.

Jesslyn Risser is honored to serve as your 2025-2026 Pennsylvania Dairy Princess!

Jesslyn resides on her family's dairy farm, J-Ali Holsteins, in Lebanon County with her parents John and Alisha and siblings Abigail, Audrie, and Ethan. She is grateful for the hands-on experience and countless opportunities growing up on a dairy farm. Off the farm, Jesslyn is a Senior at Cedar Crest High School where she serves as Vice President of the Cedar Crest FFA Chapter, and a member of the Track and Field team.

From a very young age, she had a heart and strong voice to advocate for the dairy industry. At 7 years old, she decided to join the Lebanon County Dairy Promotion team. Jesslyn's favorite promotions have always been going to schools to promote dairy farms and delicious milk!

As the newly crowned Pennsylvania Dairy Princess, her goal is to tie the connection between consumers and producers! Jesslyn's hope is to positively promote with passion, by sharing on-farm experience and encouraging others to support Pennsylvania dairy farmers!
