Crockpot Italian Style Ziti Bake

1 pound hamburger (optional)

2 8-ounce packages RICOTTA CHEESE

Basil flakes

2 14.5-ounce jars spaghetti sauce

1 16-ounce box ziti noodles

1 8-ounce package MOZZARELLA CHEESE
Directions
Preheat a 7-quart crock pot to high. On the stove, bring your hamburger to simmer and let it cook. In a large bowl, mix in both tubs of ricotta cheese with basil flakes, until coated to personal preference. Set both to the side until needed. Spread of a jar of spaghetti sauce on the bottom of the crockpot. Layer half the box of ziti noodles; press down into the sauce to ensure proper cooking. Cover with an even layer of 1 container of ricotta cheese and basil. Finish with ½ pound of hamburger. Repeat for the second layer. Pour remaining sauce and Mozzarella cheese on top and sprinkle with basil flakes. Bake on high for 2 hours and 45 minutes. Approximately 6-8 servings.
